The Music of the First Battalion 51st Highland Volunteers

The LP CoverYes - our very own LP!  Originally published on a vinyl LP (remember those!).  Now faithfully "digitally remastered" and available to you in the 21st Century in MP3 format!

Recorded in 1979 with a snappy, eye catching front cover featuring various members of the Battalion in different forms of dress, including from G Company: Lt Simon Scott-Barrett, Cpl Mike Powell, Pte Ian Robertson, WO2 Bill Murdoch (Gordons SPSI), Sgt John Spoore, Pipe Major David Duncan, Drum Major Brian Alderson and Cpl Steve Hirlehey.

PS - Someone suggested to me at the reunion in Feb 2001 that it would be a good idea to make this album available on a CD so it can be played on a normal music CD player.  Good idea!  I think I know how to do this (or at least I know a man who can), but need to get a decent PC with a CD writer before I can be sure.  I will get this in the third quarter 2001.  In the meantime, if you would like to register you interest in receiving one of the (you sad person you!), please contact us with your name and address.  We will contact you closer to the time. Members of the G Company Association only please!
